Almost time for graduation!
These past 4 years have been a rollar coaster of fun, sad, exciting, dramatic, & miserable times, but I’m glad it all happened. I’ve meet some of the best & worst people here that have helped & shaped me through the years. I still remember walking into the Welcome Center first day of Freshman Year with my head & eyes looking at the ground, now I can walk out tonight with my head held high knowing I’ve accomplished the first big step in life. The Class of 2012 is definitely 1-2-remember through all the good times & the bad. Let’s all walk across the stage tonight knowing that our 2 angels are looking down at us & our friends will never be forgotten. Never forget the end of our journey that will open the doors to a new one, congratulations voc-tech class of 2012, it’s been real :)

Last day of shop tomorrow,
then 6 days of class left. Holy crap Senior Year is almost over, I’m petrified but excited all at the same time. I’m just relieved that I passed the networking MTA final
time to crash junior banquet :)
Dragons & Psychology …
Today in psych class my teacher was discussing the theories of “Intelligence.”
She then started talking about how she had a student that had a debate with her about dragons. He was a socially awkward kid that believed they existed and she basically destroyed his world and said there’s no possible way they exist. Then she made fun of the boy, but never mentioned his name thank god. She said that one of the factors of Intelligence is to think “Rationally.” She stated that since he was a firm believer of dragons he wasn’t thinking ratioally and he probably doesnt on a daily basis. “I’ll be surprised if he even graduated highschool.” Her point that she was making was that this boy wasn’t “Intelligent” because he has different beliefs and thoughts than her.
Listening to the other kids in my class making fun of him along with the teacher just made me mad. You call yourself a teacher when you’re basically degrading your students to think what they want. I just wanted to get up and start yelling at her for talking about this student and saying she was right no matter what ….
I lost all respect for her today and most of the kids on my class …
DRAGONS are definitely out there somewhere along with all kinds of other cool stuff.
I would definetely want to be friends with that kid, he probably believes in fairies, mermaids, and even a centaur for all we know, that stuff is awesome.
You’re suppose to have an open mind, you teach high school psychology to seniors.
I can’t wait to bring up the topic of Aliens one day in there ….
